Our turkey was amazingly awesome this year, darn near perfect even though the family thought we may have cooked it too long.

I actually only had white meat today, and really enjoyed it- moister than usual. Still prefer dark meat though!
Thanksgiving- one of the few days out of the year I don't drink. ![Tongue Tongue](smileys/smiley17.gif)

Well the good news for those who like dark meat from the bird, it's losing in the poll so there should be plenty for you. "I wish that I could really tell you
All the things that happened to me
And all that I have seen.
A world full of people their hearts full of joy,
Cities of light with no fear of war,
And thousands of creatures with happier lives,
And dreams of a future with meaning and no need to hide.
Oh, keep it dark." Genesis

I return to PA with a belly stuffed to the gills with white meat turkey, stuffing, mashed taters, greenbean casserole, biscuits, and topped off with pumpkin pie. I look like Garfield after he has tackled himself a lasagna. Yummmmm.

I eat both equally. Today I had mostly white meat though, because the dark meat was buried underneath it. Three plates of food, but now I'm hungry again.

I only celebrated Thanksgiving with my immediate family (my mother's brother and his family meant to come over, but that didn't work out quite right.) It looks like I'm going to have leftover turkey for every meal the next few days.

Well, yeah. It's just another pointless thing to argue about, you know. ![LOL LOL](smileys/smiley36.gif) Dark usually is moister and white is usually less so, but we're talking basically about whether you prefer breast meat or wing and leg meat. Sorry turkeys, you'd probably rather not be killed and eaten. So, one round of leftovers and we're good.
