LOL

I have never heard a complete ACDC album, let alone own one. That is not a bad thing.

I was feeling so iconoclastic I even sold my Led Zeppelin albums! Bonham's 20 minute drum solo was spectacularly uninteresting anyway.

Bought it the day it was released. Was a huge fan as a teenager and was curious to hear what Bon Scott's replacement sounded like. One of the best hard rock albums ever.

I bought it during a trip to London in which I saw AC/DC live. I also have that pointy devil thingy.

There are two songs on there dedicated to Bon Scott, "Back in Black" and "Hell's Bells", overall a wonderful album but i never felt comfortable with the choice of Brian Johnson for singer, they sounded too much like Krokus - don't get me wrong i liked Krokus but  Bon Scott' s shoes were very difficult to fill, he was up there with Robert Plant, Ian Gillan, Ozzy and Freddie Mercury in my opinion, one of the best singers in rock.Clap

I have the album but those vocals really don't sound right  Ermm

Shock - some people who like prog also like AC/DC How dare they be open minded?

Yeah - I'd pretty much go along with that

Yes I do, bought it some years back when I was 12. Not even worth the 2 dollars I spent on it. The only decent ACDC material is live.

I can't believe all the negativity about AC/DC.Granted,their music lately all sounds the same, but these guys are icons.

Bon Scott era AC/DC is great. His lyrics were clever and witty and loaded with double entendres, and his voice was gritty and dirty and unique.Albums like Powerage,Let There Be Rock and Highway To Hell are essential albums for any rock n roll fan.

Ditto. It's like porno films. You've seen one, you've seen them all.

Yep, I'm a fan of this band, own all the albums, minus Black ice (I think that's the name of the latest). Black in black is a huge album in rock history, I prefere For those about to rock from Brian era, and Powerage from first one. Anyway great band, never listen to them like 15 years ago, but 2-3 times a year is perfect

That's not the question.

The question is if I own a copy of Back in Black. I don't, the reason for that is that I don't like ACDC. What's wrong with that?
