East of Eden's marvellous Mercator Projected was released at the beginning of 1969, months before ITCOTCK. It's high time this album got some mention - if you haven't listened to it, get hold of it! You won't regret it.

The Nice - Ars Longa Vita Brevis (1968)

Pink Floyd - Piper (1967)

Clouds - Scrapbook (1968) - also worth considering "Up Above Our Heads" (1969)

Fifty Foot Hose - Cauldron (1968)

Monkees - Head (1968)

Small Faces - Ogden's Nut Gone (1968)
 
Drum Circus - Magic Theater (1969)
 
Art - Supernatural Fairy Tales (1967)
 
Spooky Tooth - Spooky Two (1968) (Also worth considering "It's All About" - 1968).
 
Graham Bond Organisation - There's a Bond Between Us (1965)

Jason Crest - never released an album, but some of their releases are amazing - check out "Black Mass", B-side of "Place in the Sun" (predates the White Noise piece IIRC).
 
 
Pierre Henry - Messe Pour Le Temps Present (1967)
 
Varese - Poeme Electronique (1958) - Influenced Zappa and Fifty Foot Hose
 
Stockhausen - Kontakte (1958) - Influenced both Lennon and McCartney.

Chad Stuart & Jeremy Clyde - Of Cabbages and Kings (1967)

Not added in the site, though they really deserved consideration. The album has a 26+ minutes suite.

Any of the first four Procol Harum albums deserve to be mentioned here. Also the last Beatles albums.
