There's a version of Tomorrow Never Knows on 801 Live, a bit funky for my taste but Eno's at his best when he tries to do pop music!

The only one I know is "We can work it out" by TESLA. Not a prog band but still a funky version on their " Five Man Acoustical Jam " cd. Guess I'm not much of a help here, sorry !

Godhead do a great cover of Eleanor Rigby. Oops, I don't hink God head are prog. More industrial metal, oh well ....

On King Crimson's Heavy ConstruKction set, one of the improvs is a strange, rather loose version of Tomorrow Never with elements of Thela Hun Ginjeet, cleverly titled Tomorrow Never Knew Thela.

Kansas did Eleanor Rigby on... Somewhere to Elsewhere or Always Never the Same, I forget which.
Although not prog, Styx covered I Am the Walrus on Big Bang Theory. Cheap Trick also did Magical Mystery Tour and Day Tripper.

I stumbled across this thread when I was trying to find out on what album I can find a 17-minute live version of Tomorrow Never Knows I have just found on Limewire  by Les Claypool featuring Oysterhead & The Fearless Flying Frog Brigade (as per the tag) ... it is pretty cool. Anyone know what album this version on TNK is off by any chance?
And on the subject of Beatles covers: Zoot, an Aussie prog band, did a quite heavy ( for its day ) version of Eleanor Rigby that does not appear to be well known outside of Australia.
