I voted for the witty, erudite and self-deprecating (you can look those words up, DanboWink) James Lee, but I'd like to see my web-pal Danbo up there, along with my South American bud Ivan.

I'll also vote for our hard-working, and peace-loving Moderator Maani, the all-too-often-absent Aussie Dude, Cesar just for being a Roman Inca, and my best Brit "mates" Jim, Easy, and Dick.

Easy for his calm wisdom and mega-reviewing capacity, Dick for his inexhaustable, impressive musical knowledge, and Jimmy Gee for his smooth moves on the dance floor.

(Oh, J.G. also makes me laugh aloud more often than anyone else here!)Clap

I will vote for others, too, and tell you why, but those Forum heavyweights, for starters....Smile

Not liking to suck up, but I voted for cet1fied, mainly because of his reviews, which i in general find to be in correspondence with what I think of the reviewed album.

It is downright disturbing that a 44 year old would call a "bud" a South American Male he knows only through the internet.

All:

Actually, I did not vote, nor would I (for obvious reasons).  However, more than that, while I will not delete this thread (since you have every right to post it), I'm not sure that it is helpful in any way, and may in fact be unintentionally divisive.  All of you are important to the site - and no, I'm not just "sucking up" to anyone or everyone.

So, whatever happens with this thread, please know that it does not, cannot, and should not reflect the truth: that everyone is equally important, and that every voice counts.

Peace.

Right Maani!Clap Stop the MADNESS!Wink

Big smileRemember the scene in Python's brilliant "Life of Brian?"

An exasperated Brian: "You don't need to follow anyone!.... You're all different!"

Small voice in crowd of deluded, sheep-like syncophants: "I'm not."

Ha!LOL

It's hard for me to vote:

  1. My buddy Peter, who always sends me friendly PM's, (No KPG it's not disturbing, for a 40 years South American to call a 40 years USA citizen a buddy, because sometimes you kmow people by what they write and how sincere they are.

  3. kOOL Prog Guruz: Every place needs his comedy relief
  4. Maani: Love the serious discussions.
  5. Reed Lover: I need someone to call me the Havelin Man
  6. Gdub: Makes me laugh and we agree sometimes
  7. Richardh: We disagree most of the times but we agree to disagree.
  8. The two Robs: Funny and sarcastivc coments, but also intelligent.
  9. Cesar Inca: My other Buddy, the only member I know in person, we live really near, and he's one of the finest minds in prog.
  10. Easy Living: Shares my love for Uriah Heep.
  11. My friends Bryan Adair Aka Useful Idiot, with whom I always chat and share passion for Fantomas.
  12. All the kids in MSM (You know who you are)

Each and every member is important to me, that's why this web is my front page.

And lets not forget Max, our private GURU (A real one)

Sweet a positive comment for me! And even poor K00l. As I've said before, I share your love for Mr. Gabriel.

So us Robs are 2 of a kind eh? Damn him! Stealing my identity!

it seems to work out though, the mix of humor, extensive knowledge, etc, and with each member lost we lose a piece of this delicately mended piece of fabric.
