I find it annoying as well. I think Mr Wine has also been in the forums under another name (Thomas Mardy?) but the init caps give it away.
I would just like to say that I think the Top 100 is good and is a pretty good reflection of the "classic" albums. Obviously it's not going to reflect everyone's taste but it does reflect the majority.

If a list of best-25 or top-10 could done with the aficionados for jazz, classical, bossa nova, country, etc the great names of each style will appear on top, always. We are not different from the rest of the humankind (although many prog-fans think we are ).
Also it is very difficult for me to imagine a Genesis or a VDGG or a Tull fan filling his wall with posters and photos of his/her favorite band(s). We are not popish!!!
