even thouth there´s no song like supper´s ready on "selling England", it has more great songs.
It´s better as whole. It would be perfect but Collins had to sing that terrible song (OMFG )

Selling England by the Pound. I've been listening to it a lot over the past year and I appreciate it more each listen. Also "Lamb" and "Trick of the Tail". Dare I say it.... I've never really gotten into "Foxtrot". Agree with Steve Hackett's comment that SEBTP was their best Gabriel album (and their best period).

Have to go with Foxtrot at the top, closely followed by the '74 and '73 efforts.

Selling England, though Foxtrot is close to becoming my favourite.

Wow!! Very hard question... I vote for "Lamb" because I think that closed a legendary age... I really love every Genesis' album, from Trespass to Duke, but I think that "Lamb" has a powerful load of emotions...

Selling England By The Pound is (for me) the greatest in a string of almighty albums ...
I fell in love with it first, but I won't argue with anyone who thinks
Nursery Cryme or Foxtrot is the ultimate prog album, either

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

I have got to go with Selling England by the Pound here.
Of course, Foxtrot has Supper's Ready, but as a whole SEBTP is just untouchable as far as 70's Progressive rock goes.

I wish there was a choice that said "Can't decide between Foxtrot, Nursery
Cryme, Selling England, or the Lamb." Because I would chose that one right
away. Last month for a while, my favorite was "the Lamb" but now I'm
leaning towards "Foxtrot." I ended up voting for the lamb anyway because
it's a double album monster with not a single second of useless music.

Infact this poll sums up quite nicely what albums you would net as a genesis fan...if you like genesis a bit then get Nursery cryme, Foxtrot, Selling england and The lamb...if genesis is in your top 10 list then get Trespass, A trick of the tail and wind and wuthering...and if you are really hardcore then get the rest

Not that it is my favorite (although I like it very much), but why is "from genesis to revelation" not on the list?
