Crazy poll ... Mannfred Mann with no Mighty Quinn?

But, yeah, Jimi's version of All Along the Watchtower will likely be the best of them all ... a truly wonderful design of the use of the guitar in the song.

Also very far out and neat, are Sandy Denny's versions of a lot of Bob Dylan songs ... that should have been in the poll were it better researched!

Fairport and Sandy Denny for sure did many Dylan covers, but the best one for me isn't on the list

As mentioned, Manfred Mann is not included because I think his version of "The Mighty Quinn" came out before any version by Dylan himself was released (the first one was on Self Portrait if I am not mistaken), so I don't know if it counts as a cover.

As for me personally, I prefer the original version of Watchtower. I think its stripped down aesthetics fits the mood of the song better. My vote went to George Harrison.
