It doesn't have to be my list, there are plenty of albums that I didn't include on the list. But if you're going to be pirating a ton of 2009 albums just for the sake of doing that, then why would you pirate a damn metal album? You don't like metal!

I think I'll listen to some more Herbie Hancock tonight, as well as some Erik Friedlander.

I need a lot more jazz still, but at least my collection is growing significantly over the last few months.

Rico, do you want to be the one who holds him down or the one who slices his face up with a copy of Mirage? Wink

It's in RPI, just like Haggard is in Crossover. I fell for it!

But seriously. 2010 resolutions will mean no more bucketload of new music, more avant(-prog) and jazz. And pre-1989 music.

Me too!  This is probably the first jazz album I've listened to that I would give 5 stars.

Mike started the Shred Room as an on-topic alternative to the spam of Suede Room, which was the heir to the Velvet Room. Suede Room got shut down a while ago so we only have this thread now because we can only have one chat thread, although you can have all the non-chat JFF spam you want...

When I was citizen king of SR I started the convention of shortening it to SR in the thread title to allow more room for vaguely clever changing titles. Joel, however, is being pretty lazy about the title changes lately. :(

I nominate Henry to be back in charge of SR titling.  He was constantly cracking me up.  Clap

Finn!  Sorry that I haven't been listening to much RPI recently, my time is currently occupied with Progressive Electronic and Post-Metal.

No prob Josh, I know how hard it is to find time for all the tunes.  Same problem over here.

By the way you guys, got the Banco Sony Blu-spec cds....spectacular.  They hit your speakers like a syringe of adrenalin to the chest (think Pulp Fiction).
