recently i've been listening things  like General Lee - Hannibal Ad Portas , imense album, great post metal/sludge , grawls are perfect , nice melodies, it is agressive , yet gentle ,smooth , I love this one. Buried Inside - Spoils of Failure is also superb one, Post metal/sludge  , catchy melodies, heavy rhythm. Excellent.
Junius - Junius this is the album of the week for me , what a great stuf, clean vocals, not agressive ,but it grasps intensity on the way, flowing rhythm ,i feel like going 360 mph ,but in fact it rarely reaches 20 , this album is accelerator , full speed one, it is slow paced one , but it is dream thing . Amenra - Mass IIII is also a must hear one. blends post hardcore, post metal, post rock, all in one edition .pleasent listen.Monolith - Eclipse , this album is huge , giant . superb . you have to listen to get all the goodies which mother Post metal/rock  offers.Tides Within - Worship, this i could realy get into, to many drones, all kind of sounds, althogh album starts very good ,post metalish but i was unpleasently surpirised, suddenly drones were everywhere, do me a sonic attack, .  Hammers Of Misfortune - The Locust Years, simple but beautiful . also i heard band called Lisabo , album  Ezlekuak, but i couldn't get this one ,labeled as post hardcore but it was to soft, lacks grawls, heavy passages, . on the post rock note i encountered Condre Scr - Jar Marsen ,and i was pleasently surprised , how good this is , i love it . Below The Sea - Blame It On The Past is awesome, soft, smooth, relaxing post rock.

Millions Now Living is just flat out awesome, as is TNT.  It's a toss-up as to which I prefer, though I'm inclined to say MNL.

Now that the screamo subject has been raised...check out these guys: http://www.myspace.com/heaveninherarmsjapan

O.K. band, very similar to Envy, though the vocals seem kind of ridiculous at times.Wink

I have Weighing Souls With Sand. I think its really awesome. Very dense, hard to get my head inside all of it at first. Now the thing is just crushing.

I think Standards is a great record, but it's their most jagged and probably their least accessible record. TNT and Millions Now Living are way more smooth. It's All Around You has elements of Standards and their older records.
