Indeed they are.  I wish my teacher would let me skip since I have an A, but I somehow know he won't.  I'm just not that lucky.  As it is, the final was scheduled at the same time as another music class I'm in now and I'm still waiting for the teacher to let me know when the conflict exam will take place.  He's not being too quick on the reply.

Me too, I'd honestly be alright with taking them both at once if I was allowed, neither is going to be tough.  That won't work though, so unless he gets back to me I get to bother him more and more until he does.
