That's pretty good, that's where I thought I'd be.  The abortion question is annoying though, I'm still undecided.

I'm not sure how to get the cross up.

A left-wing libertarian. The closest person to me is the Dalai Lama - now I like that!

The funny thing about me is that I get more left wing and tolerant as I get older. Normally it's the other way round!

I seem to be favoring leftist politics more everytime I take this test.

So much so that Trotsky and I are separated by less than a point.

This site is full of left wing anarchists.

Maybe we should change the name to commieArchives?

Don't tell Bush, he might try to close us down.

Can anyone explain this to me, exactly what this might mean? I'm clueless when it comes to politics.

How to read this result:

The upper left side of the quadrant would mean that you are communist (left economic and authoritarian)

the lower left quadrant being socialist (left wing economic but libertatirian)

the lower right quadrant , you are for liberalism (right wing and libertarian)

the upper right quadrant , you are prone to fascism (right wined economics and authoritarian ruling)

____________________________________________________________ ___

In your case, you are solidly left wing but certainly no communist>>> my guess is that as an American , you are solidly frustrated by the politics since both major parties (and no alternatives to those two) are both right winged economics, even though the Democrats are generally more social (welfare and healthcare programs) than the Republicans who are hardline capitalists and very conservative

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Thanks Sean

It looks like most of us are in the socialist section. It can't be coincidence that most of us proggers, for the most part agree on politics.

I have another question, probably for Sean to answere.  What exactly does it mean to be a liberal, or socialist? I could always search it online, but I'm sure you would have a much more explanatory answere, and interesting in that case too.

I wonder where Andy Tillison is on this.  Definately bottom left, but how far left?

So if I got this correct. I'm very economically liberal  and socially...moderate/liberal  with value on personal freedoms and choices.    Thats actually VERY accurate.
