I actually like how progressive rock tends to have less of the whole sex and free love thing (notwithstanding some prominent exceptions, Zappa in particular).  The abundance of sex in rock music, in my opinion, has the effect of trivializing sex rather than elevating it.

False, Gates of Delirium is about a vagina.

Also false, it's about a food fight Jon Anderson experienced at his day care center in the early 1950's.

Also false, it's about Chris' claustrophobia and how he struggled to overcome it.

False, it's about a man named Carl/Jane who suffers from a multiple personality disorder who is caught masturbating in an adult theater showing a film about a woman preforming oral sex on a guy in a penguin costume, who is then sent away to jail.

Every once in a while I'll hear these same wind chimes outside somewhere. I have absolutely no idea weather or not they actually exist.

Mid range, a little on the high side. Very quiet and distant. When I hear them, they sound like they hit each other fairly rapidly.

Well, I'm goin' up to Frisco to join a psychedelic band.
Hey Punk, where you goin' with that button on your shirt?
I'm goin' to the love-in to sit & play my bongos in the dirt.

Used to be my favorite Zappa.

Is that the one that has vocals on it, or am I thinking of a different one?
