That's coming from someone who isn't a big fan of Zappa - obviously. LOL

I figured as such. LOL You've tried out the albums in the same kind of style as Hot Rats yeah?

Waka/Jawaka i believe.

Zappa has remained pretty fresh for me, perhaps because I only listen to a different album every few months or so. It's the healthy dosage.

I was a Zappa fanatic for many many years.  In fact, my first ever online forum adventure was on zappa.com.  I would definitely say that several of his album "got old" for me, mainly the heavily-favored Roxy era ('73-75), but I imagine when I listen to them again with fresh ears, they'll still sound good.   One thing I learned on zappa.com is that there are hundreds of rabid fans that are so into Zappa that not only will they refuse to criticize anything Zappa said or did, but they will also put up with Gail and Dweezil's disdainful and patronizing attitude, thinking, "well I'll go along with their cat and mouse game, because after all they hold the key to the vault which means MORE ZAPPA RELEASES."

When I first tried loading the new version it gave me an error and when it "rolled back" the install it removed the program.  I was able to re-install it from the website though and it seems to be working.  But iTunes is up-to-date on this computer.  I'll have to try it again tonight on my home computer, which I haven't updated iTunes for.

Long day ahead.  Got in at 7:30 and I'll probably leave at 7:30.  Board meeting at 6.  Painful.

Yes, except you'll probably have a lot of those in a row, whereas I only have to do this once every couple of months.

Yep.  About 2 to 2 1/2 months of them in a row.  Being so busy though, those long days go by much faster than days like today where I don't really have all that much to do.

I'll be extremely busy if this data I've been trying to get all year ever arrives.  I'm months behind schedule thanks to that.
