I'm still stuck on Vol 10 mate so I really can't comment on what has come out after although I remember digging Misophonia the few times I've spun it...but I keep reaching for Vol 10 if I want a little Electric Orange.
Hah those Ikarus vocals are indeed atrocious. They were the only thing bringing the album down if I remember correctly, but it's been ages since my last spin.

Thanks for the info Samuel, much appreciated. And sure maybe those Elder boys don't exactly hang their hat on the vocals, but they do occur...and I find that I really like them..much to my own surprise actually Sorry but the style just reminds me of oh so many bad skater/hardcore/emo bands it's insane.
On the Elder record though I look forward to the vocals.

I'd probably dig Summer in Denmark :P

That was enough Van Damme for a while, but I'll keep that in mind. I guess I can't trust ratings here, I don't like the top rated albums (other than Godbluff) and I much prefer the ones with lower ratings.

Did you like that Eden one, Sagi? I reviewed it just the other day, I think it's wonderful! Although I was discussing it soon after with someone who thinks it's totally forgettable, so what do I know?!

I was just thinking of that `Bebe Godzilla' album the other day, I accidently got it confused with another jazzy Zeuhl stunner - George Jinda's `The Wheel of Love'...wish I had EITHER of them!

Well, I have keep spinning the new Electric Orange one, mate, and I was probably very hasty in my somewhat early dismissal. Playing it LOUD delivers much more satisfying results! So I'll keep at it...I'm actually a little OD'd on E. OJ at the moment, bought three recent discs of them in the one go!

That Ikarus album...it was a blind buy, because it literally sounded on paper like everything I dig about those kind of jazzy/adventurous proto-prog kind of albums, and there was also THAT cover to fall in love with...but yeah, very quickly I keep coming back to the opinion of `Oh, man, just stop f*cking singing for a bit!!' But as you kind of suggest, everything else about is top-notch and totally reliable. Will keep at it!

It's definitely a good album, not so special for my taste though. I can't help but think that it could have been much better if they had more emphasis on playing and lay off the vocals for a bit, although sung in German which is not easy for my ears they are maybe the most pleasant that I've heard.
The first track is my favorite so I wish the rest could have been close to that one, but anyway I like coming back to it whenever I'm in the mood, I do like it.

So you're still not familiar with Bebe Godzilla? I think you're in for a treat my friend, there isn't a dull moment on the album, I mean just check out the line up, practically everyone from the zehul family is taking part of this recording. Top notch material and one of my most favorite zehul albums.
Do share your thoughts in the future.

Definitely heard it years ago, think I had a dodgy download of it from a blog page many a year ago, but had hoped to have a CD reissue of it by now. I wouldn't have listened to it in about ten years now at this point, but always remember it was VERY good. I think a little while back it had one of those special Japanese Mini LP pressings, I should really get onto it. Just that whenever I come across Mini LP pressings from that country, my attention always focuses on the classic RPI discs that get that treatment!
