I actually still really like Pokemon Yellow, but it lacks the missingno. glitch that kicks so much butt.

I haven't played Pokemon in years, probably at least 4 years, so I'm downloading an emulator now, and the Pokemon Blue ROMs.
How hacked is your Yellow version? Any specific details?

Well, for one thing, my main Pokemon is a level 100 Arbok. I'm pretty sure you can't even get Arboks in Yellow.
I distinctly remember being halfway through Victory Road, flying out, and then fighting a Gym Leader about an hour later.

I remember seeing my brother playing a romhack "Pokemon Black" where you start out as the guy from Team Rocket and you pick either an Arbok, Meowth, or Koffing to start the game. Plus, they swap Giovanni and Oak and replace Team Rocket guys with Ash or something.

No, there isn't any Arboks in Yellow. I don't know why I remember that, but it is the truth. That sounds like a pretty crazy mod! I just downloaded what I thought was just Blue version, but I ended up getting 46 different ROMs About 50-60 per cent of which are blue version hacked thingos, and the rest are different language versions of blue, but since they aren't named anything really distinct and clear, I have to file through 15-20 different ROMs to find the English language version

I've mastered the get mew without a gameshark glitch and then applied it to getting Magmar and Electabuzz (not in yellow), ergo I am awesome.

It wasn't even a mod, it was just me screwing with Gameshark. I cheated lots on Gold Version as well, but it was only to get Pokemon I couldn't normally (and level them up to 100 infinite rare candies lol). I cheated on Ruby, too, but only after I had beaten it normally. I've abstained from cheating on Diamond.

Oh yes, I forgot about the genius of how you can speed up most emulators game speed by 400 per cent, so I can complete Pokemon way more quickly and without that stupid painfully slow speed I endured on a real gameboy.

400 percent is about the limit for GBA, but for GBC and black-and-white Game Boy games you can get that mother going at 4000 percent.

I never used Gameshark or game Genie, just relied solely on the missingno glitch, which I don't think technically qualifies as cheating anyway.

Use Visual Boy. It's the best out there.
And it doesn't matter which one you're using to emulate, what matters is which type of game it is.
