Actually, "Nothing To Declare" is quite beautiful. Need to listen to this more often.

I missed something somewhere along the line.  What is L=M?  Is this a live album from a Marillion Weekend, or is this something else?

Marillion are finishing up an all acoustic album of older material, plus a new song. Personally, I'm having a hard time getting psyched for it, but could be surprised.

I suppose that that could be interesting.  I have enjoyed various unplugged shows such as Tesla's Five Man Acoustical Jam and Eric Clapton's Unplugged.  On the other hand, I would prefer all new material.

I hear you, Scott. Seems a bit too 90's to me, to be honest.

About to watch the BRAVE concept film - My dad bought it after I left my copy of BRAVE in his car for about a month, now one of his favourite albums

Not sure what to expect, I'll drop back in and tell you later.

Seems Greg Walker has a live DVD from the Holidays In Eden tour for sale through his site. I've asked about quality and a set list, but will probably get it.

^^Sounds good - I'm still really looking for a live DVD from the FUGAZI tour... I'd pay a ton for that...

Just finished BRAVE, the film...
Not sure how I feel about it - Certainly not great, but not terrible either...

I borrowed it from a buddy of mine and glad I didn't shell out the money for it. Just a bit too 'trippy' for my tastes.

I like the little performance segments. Other than that, not my cup o' tea.

What puzzles me is some people on their forum have heard samples; but, I'll be damned if I know where samples are. Maybe I don't want to hear them, though. Like I said, I want to this to be a complete surprise.

I just did a search for Steve Hogarth on eMusic to see if they happened to have any of his solo albums available for download.  They didn't.  But they did have an album from an artist named John Wesley called The Emperor Falls, which lists Steve Hogarth and Steve Rothery as contributors on a couple of songs.  Is anyone familiar with this album and what it might sound like?

I don't have it, but Wesley has quite the pedigree. He's the second touring guitarist for Porcupine Tree and is good friends with Marillion. He played guitar with The Wishing Tree during the second night of the convention, and opened on the third night. It was just him and an acoustic guitar, so a little hard to get a feel for his music.

I know at one time he allowed his entire discography to be downloaded legally through his site.

It's a guitar oriented rock cd with members of Marillion as guests on 2 songs. You can download it for free at :

As you were talking about John Wesley and Steve Hogarth, thought I'd say that I recently attempted to get Wesley added to PA, which is currently under evaluation, and that after buying all his albums, I'd have to say he's great.

The Emperor Falls is great, although H's presence isn't really a standout IMHO.
