Yeah man, he's a fantastic kit player! And it's recorded using a Zoom video recorder which is pretty good for a handheld however the sound quality is never great. For feedback purposes though it's perfect I think!

Recorded this with Muso Channel, an upcoming organisation in the North of England, the other day. It's one of mine. Have a listen and enjoy!

I have a habit of taking life more seriously and less seriously than anyone I know.

But yea dude you are great on the keys. If you lived in the states I would immediately steal you and force you to play sheet music haha

It's not necessarily a bad habit!

And cheers bro, there is always the power of the internet if you still want stuff playing for you?

I make some music but I broke my mic.
So I write my music with the software Guitar Pro 6.
It's sounds a little bit digital but it's good enough.
I will make a site with my music on it soon.

For The Pessimist :
I'm listening to your title Plancks.
Sounds very good.
Reminds me a bit of the Sixth Movement of Clearlight's Symphony II.
So jazzy.

More spamming from me:

Footage from my band's gig on Sunday afternoon. It was sunny and a fox was sitting in the garden, perfect for clapping in 9/4. Our drummer goes a bit crackers at the end too, which is nice to hear.

I need to check out all your posts Alex. I'm curious to hear your album.

I've made some breakthroughs with lyrics, I just generally have more of an awareness of what's going on poetically, plus I've got three lyrics that are more or less finished, and two more in the works.

Some junk lines here but here goes:

Another Year (A Tribute to Kobayashi Issa)

Another year is gone
I still wear the same clothes
But the people down there
Always change their lights
Barely visible
I clean my house casually
Spiders make their webs
And I see them get swept away

Life I've known on the mountain
Far above any conflict
Never working for anything

Down there they sweat
Slaving on the roof of hell
I watch far above
In the coldest part of heaven
Cicadas will appear
Singing themselves empty
And I will be ashamed
In silence I retain my old shell

Life I've known on the mountain
Far above any conflict
Never rushing for anything

Maybe something for a new EP this summer? I think I'm going to chop off the last guitar bit though.

Thanks :) Haha I haven't heard of that, but I looked it up and I can see how it might remind you of that. It's a drawing I made out of two random shapes.

After listening to some of the links you've posted, I have to say this one's my favorite. The clapping added another texture which was a nice touch. I might like some more variety in general with your material. When translated to a band setting, you guys tend to use similar tricks and evoke the same moods. I know how hard it can be to create variety in a trio, though.
