Four bands I personaly have trouble calling progressive they best fit the description of Pseudo Prog for me. So which one do you prefer ?

I voted for Radiohead...
but have you listened to the early Porcupine Tree albums??? Absolutely prog....

I voted porcupine tree .. however I still can`t accept them as being true to form prog rock .. their early stuff I would consider to be ambient alternative rock

The Mars Volta are the best.
They are DEFFINITLY prog though.

I love them all, but i voted TMV, followd by Tool by an inch... anyway the only band from that list that i dont consider Prog is Radiohead... but i love them

They're all absolutely prog(except maybe Radiohead)...
I voted TMV, I like them a little more than PT.
Can't stand Tool and Radiohead

I like PT best, but think that TMV is the most truly "prog" of the four.

Porcupine Tree for me. Big Steven Wilson fan, a throwback to
'old school' prog leaders like Fripp. Great voice as well, his
singing is what caught my attention when I first heard In
Absentia.
