Inner City Unit. Their Output is not all punk, but Passout and
Punkadelic are very punky indeed. And there is some prog relation too
due to their sax player and singer Nik Turner.

no offense dude, but those are some lame options, blink 182 and good charlotte are not true punk..busted,mcfly and offspring are ok but not among the best, wheres the mc5?, wheres black flag?, the minutemen?, television?, richard hell and the voidoids?...nirvana are one of my favorite bands, but even though they had the punk attitude, they are not punk rock by genre, they are alternative rock with metal and punk influences...so they shouldnt be there...out of these options, i vote the ramones.
