It's a shame that anyone has to leave. I'm getting more than a little sick of some peoples' attitudes towards all of this.

Reminds me of Roger Waters in a way...I wonder why?
And Jesus said unto John, "come forth and receive eternal life..."
Unfortunately, John came fifth and was stuck with a toaster.

The carnival man.
So glad to know you, the carnival man
You're shaking hands with the carnival man
So pleased to meet you, the carnival man
Call me Mr. Temptation.

Like a bullet in a chamber that you're thinking is empty
You press it to your temple with a finger on the trigger
An act of bravado, an act of defiance
It's all eyes upon you now.
Temptation Oh such a temptation
Temptation Oh such a temptation

The carnival man.
So glad to know you, the carnival man
You're shaking hands with the carnival man
So pleased to meet you, the carnival man
Call me Mr. Temptation.
Is there anything you want?
Anything you desire?
Just tell me anything you need.
They call me Mr Temptation.

You're the life and the soul of every party
Now you're walking wounded, just another casualty
You've got my sympathy, you've got my calling card
This call's collect, I'm the carnival man, Mr Temptation,
Carnival man.
This is the day that the circus leaves town.
Goodbye carnival man,
This is the day that the circus leaves town.
Goodbye,
This is the day that the circus leaves town.
I'm always almost unlucky _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Id5ZcnjXSZaSMFMC Id5LM2q2jfqz3YxT

LOL, the best case would be if it is really just Reed having a laugh. I'm sure he's smart enough to play the role- there's not much to it, after all: center, bold, misspell, annoy, and ELP. I've seen more complex personalities in arcade games.

Damn, I wish I'd thought of doing it first...I could have kept Reed going for days. Not to mention confusing the hell out of the real KE9.

3rd Impression - you're being watched..... if we see a huge ELP logo suddenly appear in your posts, you will have been rumbled!

Incidentally - if you're not KE9 in a different guise - how does it feel to be a new member, and to have so many people staring? It must be something like the scene at the beginning of An American Werewolf In London - walk into to pub, everyone stops talking, and stares at you.

Hello Jim

I think i can grow to love this room.

I am a lttle set a back by the nasty welcome i have recieved though.

I think i could get use to it all.I've read back quite a few pages to find it a normal atitude between certain members.

Disagreement between band preferences seems to be a problem.

However

I bet he will. Under a different name. He knows how to wind people up. He enjoys the attention. He's not content to just discuss music he wants to fight over it like a child.

Because maani can see your IP address is exactly the same as K9's.

(I'm tempted to put up a big fat DUMBASS over here but I'm too scared to do it.)

Knowing full well that maani will not confirm your previous identity to us. I think maani would consider it somewhat unethical to do so. He would rather give you an opportunity to post on here without upsetting others.

Can you rise to the challenge?

Hey guys, if this thread keeps on , it will be quickly longer than most ELP threads of the last months or so. This might be unsettling for all of us seeing a proghead leaving this forum.

Like another member, I did not read in his posts anything that might appaer as above average prog knowledge, mainly because of his aggressiveness towards anybody. I thought DallasBryan was much more knowledgeable , but also too assertive.

Sadly funny how none of those two ever wrote a review , though.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
