Good f***ing riddance. I just hope that you really mean it this time - since joining PAn you've put everybody's back up, either directly or indirectly. Just recently this forum has been spewing bile and vitriol in all directions when before we were simply discussing the music that we love. I hope we can return to that without intrustion soon. Healthy discussion and even a little arguing is fine, as long as valid things are being said, and it's not just playground squabbling. Your posts, though, have been mostly childish, churlish and sometimes even offensive. We don't need you and you don't need us, so goodbye, have a nice life, and in future try respecting your fellows as much as you do your music. |

I see almost no-one rushing to this guys aid. All he has done in the last month is piss nearly everyone off. Coming from guys like Reed and myself....two people who are more than quite willing to throw oil onto the fire....that says alot. He will not be missed. |

He did have a lot of knowledge and instead of sharing that knowledge he chose instead to throw flames on anyone who disagreed with his childish ELP antics. Just looking at the way he wrote his notes assaults you right away. I do not like to see anyone go but I will not miss him.

A fair number of noobs enter the forum with guns blazing...they either settle down or disappear. Either way, the forum wins. why does karnevil have to leave? and some of your people are being awful negative about this! some of his views may have caused us to retaliate, but i deeply resepected him for defending a band that he clearly loves way too much, i hope this doesnt mean he is giving up this fight the forum will definetly be a much less exciting place if he is gone. All these ELP arguments have been f**king annoying but he gave helped devote some drama, realism and excitement on this forum, the best in a while and i think him (and the people who were against his views, eg reed lover) are both very strong characters in this forum, i think we need this oppostion in views and taste! please come back K9! to sum up, sure these latest threads have been annoying, offensive and repetitive, but i am sure gonna miss that centred type and ELP devotion! ------------- The Worthless Recluse

LOL, the best case would be if it is really just Reed having a laugh. I'm sure he's smart enough to play the role- there's not much to it, after all: center, bold, misspell, annoy, and ELP. I've seen more complex personalities in arcade games. Damn, I wish I'd thought of doing it first...I could have kept Reed going for days. Hey guys, if this thread keeps on , it will be quickly longer than most ELP threads of the last months or so. This might be unsettling for all of us seeing a proghead leaving this forum. Like another member, I did not read in his posts anything that might appaer as above average prog knowledge, mainly because of his aggressiveness towards anybody. I thought DallasBryan was much more knowledgeable , but also too assertive. Sadly funny how none of those two ever wrote a review , though. ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |
