I wonder if Greg Lake has browsed the forum? And what he thinks about groupies that tell all.

As a newbie and an active lurker, I'm gonna reply to this cause its downright ridiculous. I have read here enough to know that 3fates is not all about ELP. Yes, ELP seems to be her favorite band, and yes, she seems to be in love with Greg Lake, but I have learned quite a lot from her about other bands. I bought the Strawbs' "Ghost" not to long ago on her recommendation and I love that album. I've also learned about Renaissance from her, as well as Jon Anderson's solo album "Olias of Sunhillow" which I didn't even know existed. I've not been into prog that long, but Yes has really become my favorite. I've bought 3 ELP albums and I will get Trilogy next. And I like ELP, they aren't to me the best, but I can see where people would think so, musically they are all 3 very talented guys. I also got Marillion's Marbles from her and Maani's review of the Marillion concert. She also gives a lot of information about concerts and things from the 70s that I have find very helpful. And who cares if she was a groupie, that just means she has more real information to share. I think being a groupie in the 70s must of been wonderful, cause there's nothing out there now worth being a groupie for.
As a female, I've also noticed that the other women, like Petra and Shrinking Violet don't come here very often anymore either. Personally I think most of you guys are a bunch of whining d!cks! RichardH was right that you spend most your time here baiting others so you can slam or argue with them. People start real threads about music and others like Reed Lover only add abusive humor or attacks on members.
For this reason, I have decided that I'm not coming here to the forums anymore either. I'm sure I can learn what I need to from the archives or find a better way somewhere else. You guys need to grow up! If you're the cream of the crop of prog fans, then no wonder prog has such a bad rep!

What is this nonesense? What kind of name is Reemee? Joined March 13th,bang 1 post and bye-bye.
Dont happen to be a friend of hers by any strange coincidence????? You actively wish you could have been a groupie in the 70's. Hope you havent got kids......."mommy when I grow up I want to be a hooker, only pop stars mind....."
This is getting more and more hilarious! The whole ELP fanclub is gonna be beating the doors down soon...
Pathetic.

Active Lurker?????? Bull s**t, sounds more as a double personality case, but I'm sure it's not Threefates, because she always has the courage to defend her opinion without need to hide behind a fake name.
Threefates spoke about Strawbs several months ago (And I bought one of their albums thanks to her good tip), also about Renaissance several weeks ago.
Did Threefates recommended Marillion? I believe she doesn't like Neo Prog, I'm almost sure she said something as if they were a watered version of Genesis.
So Ramie has been a lurker for about 6 months and never shared her knowledge, experience opinions or even posted in a single thread, but still feels that she has the right to come, insult everybody and leave.
I had a lot of disagreements with Threefates, but I can respect her position about ELP and even against Genesis (even if I don't share it) because she stands and defends it ususally with valid arguments, but the opinion of a newbie who leaves after the first post doesn't deserve any respect.
I'm sure nobody is going to miss you after one trascendental post Ramie, Khatru or whoever you really are.

Yikes, there goes another disagreement with Threefates.
Seems that the "active lurker" is well informed about Threefates and Maani.

Frenchie:
It's not about "me" or "fans" or any of that crap!!!
Why should someone be applauded for making unfounded accusations (probably, but not definitely, at the behest of others) just to back up an aquaintance?
If she'd come on and bad-mouthed you, I would have backed you up. It is not just about taking sides.I can look after myself.

Oh my... I see Reed has accused some other poor soul of being me. But Ivan is very right, I don't need another ID to assert myself. And if this Khatru is a friend of mine, she didn't let me know she was coming... or going for that matter.
Also its very easy to read here for ages and not post.. so why do you guys make such a mystery out of everything. Whether she has really never posted before.. or is someone who's been here for awhile... it really doesn't matter. What matters is that she feels the need to say something about the crap that goes on around here.
I do think its really pathetic tho that its seems Reed has to make every ELP thread into a personal "look at me" thread. It ruins this section, and really doesn't add anything to the discussion. And whoever Khatru is, she was really on the mark about you guys being a bunch of whining dicks... I love that one! I'll have to remember that for future posts.
Khatru, if I helped you learned about anything prog... thank you for letting me know. I hope you continue your quest and find some good music... But Yes?... why Yes?

Don't worry.. I noticed your edit above Reed Boy... and groupies are hookers??.. Sorry, but never got paid that well... and my son knows all about it and thinks its very cool. Actually he dedicated a collection to me last year, it was based on rock star costumes from the 70s.. you know Keith's armadilla coat, etc..... and says to make sure my journal is easy to read, cause he might want to publish it one day...
I guess not everyone is a puritanical as you are Reed...

I was talking about "Khatru"s wishing she was a groupie in the 70's. You think it's a great career choice? I remember,i think, you writing that it wasn't for everyone...
C'mon, have you been on the sauce?Stop being deliberately stupid. And stop sticking up for that K9 moron-i'm beginning to think he's related to you....
