I challenge you to a staring competition!

If you like your humour dark as well as surreal, I'd also recommend 'League Of Gentlemen'(not the 3rd series though) and 'Monkey Dust' - with both of these you don't know whether to laugh , cry , or hide behind the sofa ...

Azrael - a name that I use for everything, mostly because it sounds cool.
It refers to the Angel of Death, or most people remember it from the cat
on the Smurfs.

2112 - do I have to say what this is?

The avatar is from Castlevania - Simon Belmont. The greatest video game
series of all time!

Gentle Giant is my favourite Group.I always liked the sound of the name and the song. When I choose it I didn't noticed first, it was Dracula spelled backwards. In every case I'm more a night creature.

Alucard is also the name of Dracula's son in Castlevania, where my avatar
is taken from.

Aha - changed!

Still not moving, but a terrific album, nonetheless - 'Bridge Of Sighs' by the sublime Robin Trower.

No - he is not prog, I do not want a debate on whether he is prog, I do not want to see a poll on whether he is prog or not, I do not want to see a thread debating his prog-ness.........

"utah_man"  = Points to my location both currently & originally.

Through the years, my family and I have lived a lot of different places here in the States, but always end up returning to the western slope of the grand Rockie Mtns. along the spectacular Wasatch range.

(Only been to three "foreign" countries: Canada, Mexico, West Virginia ).

[footnote: one of the few native Utahns who is not a member of the Mormon church]

Avatar (BTW, didn't they simply used to be called Icons ?) = Gentle Giant's cover of Octopus.

THE CHEMICAL WEDDING of

Christian Rosenkruetz

You Are Cordially Invited to a Royal Wedding!

 Today – today – today

is the wedding of the King.

If you are born for this,

Chosen by God for joy,

You may ascend the mount

Whereon three temples stand

And see the Thing yourself.

Take heed,

Observe yourself!

If you’re not clean enough,

The wedding can work ill.

Perjure here at your peril;

He who is light, beware!

I'm always almost unlucky _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Id5ZcnjXSZaSMFMC Id5LM2q2jfqz3YxT

Syzygy is a word that once got me a truly remarkable score in a game of Scrabble (sad but true). The final 'y' was on the bottom right hand corner triple word score, and it connected to the word 'thirst' going down. OK, so one of the y's was a blank, and a 7 letter word would have got me a 50 point bonus, but it's not every day you get to use a 6 letter vowel free word, and even rarer for it to land on a triple word score.

The avatar comes from Harry Enfield's brilliant send up of the stereotypical Scouser - I should add at this point that I am guilty of being Liverpudlian, but no one has ever called me a Scouser (at least, not to my face). If it hadn't been for a certain Manc's poking fun at my native city (aided by a Swede with an oddly English sense of humour) it would probably be something prog related.

My new avatar actually speaks for itself. For the unknowing: it's from the backcover of King Crimson's 'Red'. One of my alltime favourite albums. I also think it's a very strong symbol. It somehow reflects the state of the world as it is today (IMO).

As Stephen Fry once said: sometimes there just isn't enough vomit in the world

(I won't mention what my girlfriend calls me)
