Mr. Bungle (the album) and California are slightly more accessible, but Disco Volante is just impossible for me to get into.
Also, most post-rock, particluarly GYBE!, is difficult to get into.

I can not mention entire prog albums which I find difficult to get into until now.
When it comes down to songs on prog albums, I can only mention this: I was amazed when I heard "Experience" by Gentle Giant for the first time on this site so I mailed a friend of mine. But I guess that was too odd for my friend (he had no problems with the second part of the song...). I think I'm not gonna mail him again to listen to "So sincere" which is even more odd...
There are only some fragments in Tocatta (ELP) and the first 3 minutes of Close to the edge (Yes) I wished they had done differently. I will forgive them for that because the rest is so superb!!!

Personally, I find "difficult" music (Henry Cow, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum,
Comus, Velvet Underground, experimental Krautrock et al) easy to listen
to, as it holds my attention.
It's the most mainstream, melodic neoprogressive that I find more of a
trial, especially when these albums are long (and they usually seem to
be). MAGENTA's "Revolutions" is a prime case in point - it's pleasant and
inoffensive enough, but why did a band signally lacking any original ideas
or an identifiable sound of their own decide to debut with a 90 minute
double album filled with 20 minute conceptual suites? Likewise, I found
KARNATAKA's live double hard to sit through, as the whole thing is so
mellifluous and listless.
Another good example is the Italian band PROWLERS. They're actually an
above-average neoprog outfit, with a pleasing sound hinting at classic
Renaissance as well as Italian seventies stuff like APOTEOSI and SAINT
JUST, but all three of their albums would be a lot more enjoyable if they
were shorter and more tightly edited (one runs for two hours!).

It was an immediate likeable affair for me really. I was a bit weary at first seing so many people rambling about how difficult it was to get into.
So when I downloaded it, I didn't have high hopes since basically I prefer the 'simple' music of neo-prog bands. but once I listend to the three available downloads from this site, it was practicaly love at first listen. 
to answer the question.
Leg end from Henry Cow is indeed a difficult listen, but they promised me it will be rewarding once you got through it, so I'll try again some more.
Also Union from Yes, I can't listen to it, without boring myself to tears (sorry fans of Union)

I agree, it might not be the world's most unlistenably Progressive Rock album, but it is definitely not easy to listen to. It at times just bores me to death.

I usually struggle trying to get though any Pink Floyd album. I just don't get it.
And oddly enough, like Politician, I don't find most of the albums listed here difficult at all.

Sorry, mates, but I really can't get into Mariah Carey's work. Way too difficult for me. Oh, and I also tried Spice Girls but couldn't get to the end of any of their albums...

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Calculating Infinity
I really love their whole insanely technical hardcore sound but it can only be taken in small dosages.
Or atleast on this album. Miss Machine is a little more diverse.

At the moment most of the music that consensus says is "difficult" is totally impenetrable to me.However this site is gradually refining and re-defining my tastes !
I am at a stage where I find GG and VDGG "difficult" and Magma "crap" (that's not to say they that are,just that I find them totally dissonant )
However 12 months ago GG and VDGG were at the "crap" stage so I am making progress!
In 6 months time I expect to be liking GG,appreciating VDGG and finding Magma difficult.
