"distasteful" is the most telling word in the article. A nice reminder that not every military casualty (especially their spokesperson) is worthy of mourning.
Their next weapon will turn the enemy into rabid forum posters, further removing the possibility of anyone ever coming to an agreement and accomplishing anything substantial.

Looks like somebody took the 'make love not war' slogan at face value. I wonder if it occurred to them the the enemy might actually enjoy exploring other aspects of their sexual identity, rather than being demoralised by it. And what if that weapon fell into enemy hands - am I the only one to find he thought of the SAS or the USMC turning into the Village People extremely amusing?

This made me smile. Sometimes the world can be funny even when it doesn mean to. 
It's a pity the military can't develop a 'food & shelter bomb' I'd support that.
