Not to mention the annoying Rogerism from this era whereby he keeps going from barely audible whisper level volume to full throttle volume, making it difficult to set a proper level on the stereo that works for both portions of the album. If you set the volume on a quiet part and then walk away, boom, the loud part kicks in and every neighbor is cursing you until you get back to the receiver. It's not really dramatic, Rog. It's just annoying. Or maybe it's just my memory. I haven't played Pros and Cons in ages.

Ditto, but TFC will always be the more relevant and moving album for me.

Rogerism was in the air back then, but neighbors never gave a sh*t about it!

TFC

That one makes sense.
I'm not sure sure about P&C

I prefer both to Gilmour's solo projects of About Face and AMLOR

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Personally, I prefer David Gilmour's first two solo albums David Gilmour (1978) and About Face (1984) than Roger Waters first two solo albums (the first allegedly a Pink Floyd album).

The Final Cut. A depressing album that kind of fits the mood of the present time. It appears from now on incompetence is a positive attribute.

The Final Cut (by a mile) which was essentially the conclusion of themes explored on The Wall (and to an extent was leftovers from that). To this day I still have no clue as to what Pros & Cons is about it, and I've listened to it enough times.
Is it any wonder that the monkey's confused?
