^ It had happened to me years ago, and it happened to me again yesterday. I don;t know why it is appearing now for you and me, but please read this topic:
If you have unwanted code in your post... (CLICK) where I addressed this issue. CLick on you control panel, then forum preferences, then disable the WYSIWYG post editor. I always did it manually, but if it helps I offer the BB forum code there for making hyperlinks manually, embedding videos, colour coded posts, bolding etc. without using the post editor.

Thanks Greg. That appears to have fixed the problem.

Someone has just given ALL of the recent prog polls - not just mine - a 1-star rating, so I'm guessing that's someone who believes polls are only for strippers and cross-country skiers. Tongue

That sounds like either someone with nothing better to do, or a troll.

I've never seen anyone do that before, much less give every poll a 1-star rating. Confused

Thanks to the Admins (and me signalling it) , thread rating featured cancelled.

It'll avoid useless frictions and abuses
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Thanks Sean. The PA forums look much neater without all of those random star ratings scattered all over the place. Smile

^ was Dio ever in Deep Purple? I can't find any mention of it on the Wiki page?

as as aside I've been listening to recent albums such as Infinite, Whoosh! and the most recent +1. They must have one of the best later discographies of any classic rock era band.

Yes, he'd fit in Cozily if I hadn't already filled all 25 available slots. Smile

Dio should not be in the list.
If one puts Phenomena here (Glenn Hughes sang on three albums if i remember right, and only the debut on all the songs), Glenn sang and performed on a ton of bands, should all be mentioned?! Confused

I think his albums as a solo artist should be enough.

But Cozy has not played on any Deep Purple albums. Confused

Joe Satriani was only a live guitarist, helping to finish their 1994 tour. He never played an any albums.

^ So who would you like to see in place of Dio if I delete him from the upcoming series of polls?

Fair enough, I'll swap Joe Satriani for Cozy Powell, seeing as he's played in more rock bands than you can shake a drumstick at, including Phenomena, Rainbow & Whitesnake. Thumbs Up

more Paul polls, please.  If only to drown out Logan's alphabetical polls (which consistently leave out many bands despite the thread names Ermm).  It's maddening, son.
