And Jared, please excuse the joke "shred", but it's a favourite of mine. Some might say that they wouldn't know the difference between those shreds and music I like. To be honest I would have thought you likely would know "You Only Live Twice", but I've been into James Bond since I was wee. The lyricist was a friend of my dads (both were officers) and his best man. When my dad left British military intelligence, he got my a dad a job managing a music hall. Quite a change of career, but that's the kind of place Russian spies might try to blend in. ;)

I guess most with an interest in jazz would know "Giant Steps", which is a true giant in jazz music.

I really am very into kinds if Indie music and gothesque/gothic music. My eldest's partner of 20 is very into goth (and various 80s music like Cocteau twins), so it's nice to have certain music interests in common.

Love to see a non-Prog list from you Jared if you want to try it. I expect that I would know more from yours than vice versa.
