Not so much forgotten, just not the popular go-to (very underrated imo) Actually, that and PP are 2 of my favorites!

Minstrel title track, Baker Street Muse and especially Black Satin Dancer are superb. I've never understood Passion Play. Maybe I'll try once more some day. Latest listenings: Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures (preparations for the change of seasons) Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy (half'n'half hits and misses) Dave Lindholm - Vanha & uusi romanssi (Finnish singer-songwriter active since 70s, great stuff) |

When I play Minstrel, I can only play it one way and that is in whole! PP didn't click for me initially but several listens can work wonders! Try again ofc Before I encountered Prog, JD were the sh*t for me! HoTH is more magnificent than just hit or miss for me, but to each their own.

Last few days:
Sielun Veljet - Kuka teki huorin (Finnish 80s post-punk, overall my favourite band ever) Hector - Herra Mirandos (Finnish 70s classic, very much influenced by Bowie of the same era) Megadeth - Rust in Peace (masterclass of riffs, solos and metal song writing) Darkthrone - Under a Funeral Moon (black metal paragon) Absoluuttinen Nollapiste - Simpukka-amppeli (Finnish proggy pop/rock) Pink Floyd - Animals (classic and last good PF album IMO) Melvins - Houdini (classic) Settle for no less than classics.

I finally got around to listening to Brave, by Marillion. I've heard many people say this is their favorite (or argue that this is the best) Hogarth-era album. Great album, but I'm still liking Marbles and even Sounds that Can't Be Made more.
Also listened to Please Don't Touch! by Steve Hackett, first time full-through. Not bad. Finally, heard The Parallax II - Future Sequence, by Between the Buried and me. I appreciate this band's talent, but I think they would be better with fewer growls. ...but I do cheat--these are all albums I've listened to in my car the last couple days. Haven't listened to anything today. Yet...
