Does anyone know why YES - Time and a Word isn't listed amongst PA's Top 250 Albums of 1970, even though it has a rating of 3.35. |

I know it's (for me) a great album and seems underrated (and compared to much later offerings, happily understated)

It's the algorithm used.

it is, nevertheless it should be a bit higher. There are albums with less ratings that are higher and it's wrong.

^ The ranking is based on the QWR, not on the "normal" average rating, so it is not necessarily wrong. However, we could consider it to be awkward...

maybe "wrong" is not a good word, is it better to say "it's not right"?

If 2 or 3 more Special Collabs or Reviewers decided to write even moderately good reviews for the album, that would probably lift it up the pecking order...

I don't know about that, not much love in the early Yes (with Peter Banks) I've noticed, hope I'm wrong...

You could put them on one, if you wish... And I have to say, aside from all the jokes, that I really like this album!

Crikey! I had no idea I was entering a Land of Confusion when I started cataloguing PA's annual lists of top albums, considering all five of those lists above are the Spitting Image of each other. I prefer the fifth list where Time and a Word is at #61. The question now though is how did you manage to find five different top albums lists when I've only ever found one list for each year? Two different lists - I get Asterix at 250 on your one Paul but Yes on suitkees' one. Don't know what the difference is though.
