I've noticed that there are 3 versions of Nektar's "Sunday Night at London Roundhouse" on Progarchives. Confused

1974: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=2735 / https://www.discogs.com/release/753080-Nektar-Sunday-Night-At-London-Roundhouse
2002: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=2753 / https://www.discogs.com/release/2480753-Nektar-Sunday-Night-At-London-Roundhouse
2011: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=54942 / https://www.discogs.com/release/4612743-Nektar-Sunday-Night-At-London-Roundhouse

I can see the justification for having the "2002" pressing as a separate release since the album has a very different track listing than the original. However, the "2011" release seems to have the same track listing as the "2002" release except for the last track.

I believe that the "2011" release should be deleted, and the "2002" can be kept.

What do you all think?

^ I think all 3 albums have the right to live.

1. 1974 is an "ancient" live LP, only partly recorded at the Roundhouse, its Release info on PA reads: "B-side recorded live at Chipping Norton Studio March 27".
2. 2002 is a double CD, completely recorded at the Roundhouse. I.e., as you've noted, it's different enough record.
3. 2011 has slightly different track list.

After doing some research, "Woman Trouble" and "What Ya Gonna Do?" are the same track but with different names. This makes both the "2002" release and the "2011" release exactly the same besides for some changes in song titles.

"Track 2-5 is titled "Woman Trouble" on the artwork but is a live version of song "What Ya Gonna Do?" from ...Sounds Like This."
- https://www.discogs.com/release/2480753-Nektar-Sunday-Night-At-London-Roundhouse (Under Notes)

I have updated the track listing and added a note about the different track name on both releases.

Disc 1 (49:44)
1. King of Twilight (12:10)
2. Desolation Valley (8:58)
3. A Day In The Life Of A Preacher Featuring the Birth of Oh Willie (19:50)
4. Summer Breeze (3:04)
5. Cast Your Fate (5:42)

Disc 2 (56:44)
1. Remember the Future Part One (18:47)
2. Odyssey (Ron's On) (11:15)
3. 1-2-3-4 (12:31)
4. Remember The Future Part Two (Let It Grow) (5:14)
5. Woman Trouble (6:09) *

Total Time: 106:06

* Titled "What Ya Gonna Do?" on the 2011 Cleopatra Reissue

Releases Information:

Recorded live at The Roundhouse, Chalk Farm, London on November 25th 1973 by The Pye Records Mobile Studio

^ Thanks, if so we can combine 2002 and 2011 releases.

But before doing this I have to ask the sole reviewer of 2011 album to repost his review on 2002 edition page. And only when he reposts it (I hope he will because he's an active user) I'll ask admins to delete 2011 entry.

Nektar seems to have another duplicate entry.

There are 3 nearly identical releases of "Greatest Hits Live" by Nektar. The other 2 release titles are "Nearfest 2002 (Studio M Recording)" and "Live At The Patriots Theater". The "Nearfest 2002 (Studio M Recording)" seems to be an unofficial release as well.

I believe that both "Nearfest 2002 (Studio M Recording)" and "Live At The Patriots Theater" should be removed. I have also updated "Greatest Hits Live".

CD One (71:39)
1. A Tab in the Ocean (16:47)
2. Desolation Valley (8:59)
3. Remember the Future (Part One) (16:46)
4. Nelly the Elephant (7:12)
5. Man in the Moon (7:32)
6. It's All Over (7:04)
7. Now (7:19)

CD Two (67:05)
1. Recycled (18:21)
2. A Day in the Life of a Preacher (12:37)
3. Remember the Future (Part Two) (19:46)
4. Crying in the Dark / King of Twilight (11:00)
5. Fidgety Queen (5:21)

Total Time 138:44

Line-up:
- Roye Albrighton / guitar, vocals
- Allan "Taff" Freeman / keyboards
- Mo Moore / bass, vocals
- Ron Howden / drums
- Larry Fast / synthesizer
- Scott Krentz / percussion
- Michelle Eckert / backing vocals
- Maureen McIntyre / backing vocals
- Mick Brocket / lighting

Releases Information:

Recorded at Patriots Theater, Trenton, NJ, USA, at the NEARfest 2002 Festival on 29 June 2002.

^ I think both requests were forgotten, sorry about that.

First of all, both "correct" entries are now updated.

About deletion, those are tricky, because of reviews. Both reviwers (zeb1981 and Heart of the Matter) were contacted and asked to move their reviews on the right entries. Now let's wait a bit.

Do we really need this album to be listed twice under two different artists?

Why is there such a problem? It's a collaboration between two bands. I've seen such a situation before a couple of years back. Not quite a duplicate entry. A duplicate entry is an error. These two were deliberately posted like that. I guess the admins will decide what to do here.

I usually add a note for such entries. I just did that. Wink
