I mostly listened through all the EPs and singles by Progressive Post-Rock band And So I Watch You From Afar, most notably, and I'll most highly recommend, Letters EP (2011).

I also ended up listening through the discography of pre-ELO, pre-The-Move The Idle Race, the Psychedelic Pop project fronted by Jeff Lynne. The debut was excellent (The Birthday Party, 1968)! I can't say the same for their second or third... Not even close.

Sigh...I share the feels, fellas! So while my Ipod still technically works, I need to keep it plugged into a wall socket at all times. I disconnect it from that, within seconds the machine crashes. I haven’t dared trying plugging it into the computer any time recently and adding/removing things, so what is on there will fully die with the machine!

Five-Fifteen – Six Dimensions of the Electric Camembert (1998) - Always such a great and colourful band with punchy playing, cool tunes and vocals full of personality.

Flamborough Head – Tales of Imperfection (2005) – Always a very elegant modern symphonic/Neo band.

Guilt Machine – On This Perfect Day (2009) – One of the most underrated Lucassen projects.

Helmet of Gnats – High Street (2010) – exceptional modern instrumental/fusion disc, long one of my favourites
