I can give a ludicrous example about yours though. When you were in the prog metal team of the site (you still are), you didn't even know that there's a prog metal band named Redemption. Its gotta be in the year 2020 or 2021. This is like, you're deemed an '80s cartoon specialist, but you haven't heard of MotU or DuckTales.  Redemption is really one of the prominent prog metal bands.

You're not a prog metal team member. MotU is, well He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. 

I didn’t ask to be in the prog metal team, and one of the biggest reasons I gave for questioning my invitation to the team was my ignorance of prog metal. I have never claimed to be a prog metal fan, and in fact I have often said it is one of my least favourite genres within prog. I reiterated all that when I was invited to join the team, because I knew it would look ridiculous to people like you, for reasons like you’ve just given. No I had never heard of Redemption, and though I’ve now heard of them, I’ve still never listened to them. I could list a load of famous prog metal bands I still have not listened to. For example, I have heard of Fates Warning, but have never listened to any of their music. So what seems ludicrous to you, did to me too, when I was invited to join the team. It seems that didn’t bother any of the team, and they still wanted me. And I’d like to think that I’ve been a useful member of the team. I may not be the most knowledgable about the beginnings of the genre, and some of its most famous names, but I can still do my job.

^ Tezaura are probably the most obscure Symphonic Metal band in the entire A-Z list, so I'm not surprised you haven't heard of them.

I've heard a lot worse.  the vocalist is nothing special, the songwriting is rather cliché, I've heard it all before and done better.   I happen to like cheesy, clichéd songwriting, which may go some way towards explaining why I'm the only fan of ELP's much-maligned Love beach album.
