😄

Not sure why you’ve posted this, or what relevance it has to the topic. But hey, whatever makes you happy! You don’t have to like me. Im sure you’re not alone in not liking me.

And don’t worry, we’re in different countries, so we’re well away from each other! 😉

It could be worse. It could be Norfolk. 😜

Given the choice of Suffolk ‘n Good, or Norfolk ‘n Good, I know which I’d pick! 🤪

I've never been to Suffolk, but I'd like to visit Hereford (pronounced Here-Ford), then I can finally discover what colour the boathouse is at Stirling Lines. Wink

Nick, I spent 3 years living in Wells-Next-The-Sea between 09 and 12... an experience which left me with mixed feelings.

About 80% of the houses could quite easily be used to house Ukrainian refugees...

If the Wishmaster could grant me one wish, I'd like to have seen Nightwish with Tarja Turunen in Helsinki, but at least I have the End of an Era DVD to remember them by. Smile

Saviour Machine sticks like a sore thumb in that list. NOTHING to do with symphonic metal.

There is no doubt about it, it's an excellent concert and 5 Star DVD...

my only wish would have been to see the full concert... Sonata Arctica supported them that evening and it would have been fantastic to have seen their set in such high definition.. but at least I've seen 'For The Sake Of Revenge' which is also a great DVD...

Great band! And as Paul tends to use Wikipedia, then that is probably why they’ve been included, as symphonic metal is one of the genres attributed to the band. Their great love of Bowie shines through in much of their music (and, of course, in the name of the band), and that is possibly why I like them.

they are so unique, they're on a league of their own.
They're often labeled as gothic metal, which is not wrong, but considering how they blend genres creating their unique sound, I see them as progressive metal.

Gothic Metal and Symphonic Metal are very closely related, but I'm sure you know that already. Big smile

not quite, there are even different sounds within the gothic genre. Only bands like Theatre of Tragedy were an influence on symphonic metal, that kind of sound.
