Heavenly were also included on Wikipedia's list of Symphonic Metal bands, so no, it wasn't just my own ears I was using as a reference guide. Tongue

It's weird how you argue endlessly here when you don't know the difference between subgenres.
I don't know what dubious sources you're using, but I'm using my own ears, and what better example of Symphonic Metal Heaven can there be than a band called Heavenly!? Big smile

Considering you're putting together bands from several metal subgenres and call it all symphonic metal is ridiculous.

Heavenly are classified as power metal, melodic metal.
You were given links to the best metal sources, but you chose to ignore all that.
I don't pretend to be an expert on Metal - far from it - but I know Symphonic Metal when I hear it. Anyway, my list includes Progressive Metal bands too, so I have both bases covered.  Smile

Again, you are ignoring the fact that progressive metal and symphonic metal are two different genres.

^ You may have noticed that there are several bands on Wikipedia's Symphonic Metal list that I haven't included here, mainly because they're not Symphonic Metal, as you've correctly pointed out. Thumbs Up

Thanks Jared. Don't Stop Me Now because I just want to say that was a superb Power-Symph-Progressive Camembert Metal cheese-fest, which does indeed sound like a Heavy Metal version of Queen. Thumbs Up

Thanks. Warrior Race is listed as an EP on Wikipedia, but I've belatedly added it anyway. I'm just waiting now to see which one of my entries Cristi objects to this time. Wink

I only discovered Kingfisher Sky this morning on Wikipedia's list of Symphonic Metal bands, and on the subject of not believing everything I read, it says on the PA Active Users list that I'm the only PA member online in the whole world at the moment, but that can't possibly be true, because you're here too. Tongue
