^ These are tricky ones.
Discogs reads: "Concert recorded at Hammersmith Odeon on March 9th 1975. This recording has mostly been bootleged or released with dubious legal status, under different titles and with wrong information, often mistakenly said to be recorded live in Cleveland, Ohio, May 5th, 1976 at Richfield Stadium. The only fully legit release of this recording was as a bonus disc on the 40th anniversary reissue of 'Crime of the Century'." But Discogs doesn't block selling some of this record's versions. Are they "not so illegal"? Additionally, 2014 edition, Alive in America, looks like a didital album. Probably it's legal, I don't know. At least Spotify and Lastfm have it. Some reviewers' last visits are in 2018 and 2019, i.e. it's a problem to contact them (in order to repost their reviews). Thus I'd suggest to correct details of both albums and let them live. |

Just added a BERT JANSCH compilation A Man I'd Rather Be (Part 1), and for a momentary page loading problem it came there twice. Please remove the other one, thanks!

Roger Waters, Us + Them The latter (new addition) should be under "live albums" but I also think it should be deleted (duplicate). Then, I noticed that three other live releases from Roger Waters have "duplicate" entries (both music AND video). So should we continue that trend?? http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=5261 http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=7528 http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=5257 http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=7526 http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=50874 http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=50875

^ Julien, I didn't expect this question from you.
All these entries are correct. The logic is simple: - audio-only releases go to Live Albums; - video-only editions belong to Videos. I think it's fair because visuals add something to listening experience (or, in some cases, spoil the party ). Audio + Video sets are trickier - they fit to both categories, it often takes some time to decide where each particular release has to be added.

^ Eugene, I didn't expect this answer from you.
I was asking this because the US +THEM entry was already listed as: 2CD, 3LP, Blu-ray, DVD. Then it was added recently as a studio album (wrong category!), as if it was an audio-only release... and moreover with a weird (unofficial) cover art. Maybe we can keep both entries, but many changes have to be made, don't you think? Finally, the problem with these audio + video entries is that the reviews are split between both, even if they are more or less the same release.

Unfortunately audio + video version doesn't exist (at least now).
I don't think it's a problem, because video adds an extra dimension. I remember my impressiions of one of "more or less the same releases". It was Roger Waters' live record. I first bought 2CD version of "In The Flesh" album. OK, I thought then, it's a decent record, but Pink Floyd songs sound not exactly like Floyd. Later I purchased the DVD, and it was jaw-dropping, not only because of lights and visuals, but because of Roger's energy and charisma. If David Gilmour was responsible for musicality of the band called Pink Floyd, "In The Flesh" video clearly shows who was the nerve of the band. |

There are two entries for The Enid's "Aerie Faerie Nonsense" The 1977 and 1983 are the same album with different artwork on different labels The second 1983 entry should probably be deleted I suppose i'll get some explanation that we can't delete it because of the reviews on the 1983 version However that's ridiculous, just contact those who left reviews and tell them to move their reviews to the 1977 If they're no longer active here then they're just outa luck |

^ From Wikipedia:
"In 1983, frustrated by the unavailability of the album, The Enid reconstructed it so that they could re-release it by themselves. They re-recorded all the tracks except Ondine. It was released on Vinyl LP with slightly altered track names and the poem "To Sleep" by John Keats featured on the album cover." I believe all this justify separate entries.

Oh, ok. I missed the part where they re-recorded it. My bad. I believe you are correct then!

I don't get why the latter was added. Maybe it has something to do with the Wikipedia page: So we could update the old album page, not add another one...

^ I think so, Keishiro. After some research, I understand that 74290 is referring to the real movie (1972 and 1974 versions), but the first VHS was released in 1981 and there was the Director's Cut DVD in 2003.
So unless I'm wrong, you can delete 74290, thanks!
