Two excentric macho actors but whom is the most delicate at acting? Both are fighters, boxing and aikido. Both are also right-wingers, but that is not important factor for the poll

Rourke for Barfly alone. Steven Segal... really? |

I was aimaing at the contrast and the illusion of physique vs technique vs finesse. While both Rourke and Seagal both deploy physiche and technique and finesse, Rourke also have the Finesse of a trained method actor with good phsyiche. Though i get entertained by the most praised Seagal films he got many more stinker. Rourke is able to do most roles and most genres, from drama to action. Sometimes don't judge the book by the cover. And Mickey id an interesting book.

I doubt that Seagal has ever been employed for the finesse of his acting, it's usually because he can beat the**** out of people.

Mickey Rourke, was it only for Rumble Fish (but he had some other very decent roles). I always considered Steven Seagal as a meat package for action films; can't remember having seen just one good film with him in it...

Rourke is an excellent actor. Doubters can watch Year of the Dragon.
Seagal can act, but his range is quite limited. As everyone knows, he was a martial artist for nearly twenty years, in Japan and the States, before he made his first movie.
