Thank you, Anders...indeed the violin was deliberately skewed, to seem more alien, I would imagine.  Tom Rapp was a wonderful poet/lyricist, imo.  He also wrote another Bradbury-inspired song, "Rocket Man," (predating the Elton John song of the same name, slightly different subject) and several more space-themed songs, all with his group Pearls Before Swine.  A compilation album of covers of some of his PBS songs was entitled "For the Dead in Space," featuring The Bevis Frond, Damon & Naomi and The Shy Camp, released in 1997.

There's something a bit introvert or mystic about their music from that period. It makes it difficult to really get hooked on it, but on the other hand it is also fascinating in its own way. Had it not been for Mick Fleetwood's easily recognizable drumming, I would not have guessed that this is the band who later made Rumours. Marek Bilinskiki & Bank Opowiesci kosmiczne (Hrychu) Heavy riff-based guitar rock containing synthesizers in the front. The track is purely instrumental. My main association is 70's hard rock. I like it a lot. I like most of the songs, so I am afraid voting will be difficult.

Three of these I knew well -- the Klaus Nomi, Air, and Cat Stevens tracks.

My vote goes to Gnags - Fra en Fremmed Planet.

I will decide on the other two at a later date if JD requests more than one choice.

I like the idea of three votes, but I think that being able to play around with the rules makes this series more interesting.
