Leaving out the big hitters; Drums & Wires, Black Sea, English Settlement, Skylarking, Oranges & Lemons and the Dukes albums, which is your top choice of the less 'acclaimed' albums
My vote goes to Mummer, which I think is a criminally under appreciated album. The Big Express is also great. |

They're all very fine (and yes, perhaps unjustly neglected) albums but I've always had a real soft spot for the Big Express which rekindled my love affair with this band after the somewhat uneven and by XTC standards, sparse sound of Mummer

I've not listened to the first 2 much. Of the others Big Express is my favourite but the other two are great as well.
