^By the looks of the playlist it seems like you had a blast
I listened to Trout Mask Replica last night - another humdinger from 69...or well something. I had a blast nevertheless.

Other pics from last night include:
Django Django - s/t (Indie take on The Beach Boys vs college radio)
Radiohead - King Of Limbs (Just might be my alltime favourite from the band. Still a new album to me, but I really dig the Krautrock-like approach to especially the percussion...and some of it comes off soothing much to my delight)
Eloy - Colours (Eloy and the two-synth attack of the 80s compliment each other quite brilliantly. I still have a tendency to zone out to Matziol’s bass work though)
Oranssi Pazuzu - Mestarin Kynsi (Black metal vocals akin to darkened medicine man vocals meshed together with a psychedelic and raw form of Navajo metal...yet without too much distortion or overdrive. It’s mostly done via grooves and dynamics....and then there’s the whole astral spacey part to the album that I haven’t even touched upon. Heh. Very much recommended if you’re into Waste Of Space Orchestra’s selftitled - in fact it’s the same guys playing!)
Duran Duran - Rio (Yep. I still absolutely adore Save A Prayer..as corny as it is)
Gong - Angel’s Egg (Just as brilliant as You imho. Also..I think people tend to forget how wonderful of a dance album this is. Trust me, you’ll see some slick and slightly left-field moves from just about any experienced dancer if you put on say Outer Temple/Inner Temple)
Portishead - Third (Completely forgotten just how much Can and other motorik-charged German groups I hear on this album...yet it doesn’t sound ‘retro’ or unoriginal to me. Maybe Beth adds the Je ne sais quoi?)
Nils Frahm - All Melody (Tangerine Dream meets modern classical in a beautifully elegant manner)
“The Guide says there is an art to flying or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”

Discovered a great band this weekend.

Long Distance Calling— How do we want to live ? ( another great trio instrumental group newly discovered and the recording is awesome. )

LTE— Spontaneous Combustion ( I adore this. Have had it for years and this was a great revisit. So glad LTE are going at it again! Pre ordered LTE 3 5.1 mix out APRIL 16th. :)

Depeche Mode— Going Backwards ( Maxi Singles + Remixes)

Depeche Mode— Violator ( Still their best musically. Everything went right with this one. )
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣
