Why are anti war songs considered left wing? Songs that propose socialist reforms and pro union stances are left wing. For those you have to go back to Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger singing songs like Union Maid. Most of the songs listed above are "protest songs" and don't always conform to some ideology.

Not to get off-topic, but Hitler was a fascist. Mao and Stalin were not Communists, either. One minute Mussolini called himself a Socialist, and then being an opportunist, started the Fascist Party. Just look up the political definitions. Communism (and capitalism) has never happened.

If you're getting your info from a dictionary that explains why you're lost. No American president did more to advance social and racial progress after the Civil War than LBJ. The social reforms that intiated what he called The Great Society. Please do yourself a favor and read up on this in the proper resources, like a history book. Not a dictionary.

Lets move on to your second bit of misinformation. Fascist and socialist are not mutually exclusive terms and Hitler was both a fascist and a socialist. The official name for the Nazis was the National Socialist Workers Party.
Also, referring to your answer to Steve, LBJ is not in the dictionary.
