He did those late career albums dirty, Rajaz is easily one of their best, surprised he doesn't love it.

1: Moonmadness
2: Rajaz
3: Mirage
4: Snow Goose
5: Rain Dances
6: Breathless
7: Harbour of Tears
8: Camel
9: A Nod and a Wink
10: Nude
11: Stationary Traveller
12: Dust and Dreams
13: Single Factor
14: I Can See Your House From Here

These are all good albums, only one Camel song I don't like and it's Remote Romance

^ Your Camel album rankings are very similar to mine - with an identical Top 3 - and Remote Romance is the only Camel song I dislike too. Smile

Also, I was surprised Pete Pardo ranks The Single Factor album higher than the Rajaz album. Stern Smile

Yeah, the live part is great, but many times when I pull the album out I go straight to the studio tracks. Even though the band themselves might think what they made was rubbish (as I think Waters and Mason have said publicly) and Gilmour was apparently bullsh*tting his way through his portion, I think this stuff was wonderfully creative.

If I was rich and had a time machine, I would have gone back in time and paid them loads of money to make 10 more albums worth of Ummagumma studio tracks at the risk of ruining the Pink Floyd timeline and having a run-in with Doctor Who.

I still haven't listened to every Camel album, but Moonmadness would be my favorite as well. Lunar Sea is just a wonderful song. Another Night is another song that doesn't get its due credit in my opinion.

^ As others have said, Pete Pardo's album rankings make a lot more sense than my bizarre album rankings, but that's okay. I've never been one to go along with the crowd. I can guarantee my album rankings are 100% genuine though and I'm not deliberately trying to court controversy. Smile

On the subject of the Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe album, it's included in both of our listings as it's considered by many Yes fans (including Pete Pardo & I) to be a Yes album in all but name. Smile

I'll have Sea of Tranquility's rankings for Genesis' albums coming up next, so it'll be interesting to see how much they differ from mine again. Smile

Well at least your Genesis rankings are saner. I'm actually closer to you than Peter.

That's true. It's the first time our album rankings have even come close, and the only Genesis album ranking we really disagree on significantly is their debut album. We actually agreed on the exact placing of six albums in the list and we have the same albums in our Top 7, which surprised me. Smile

Everybody calls it differently. I like Pete Pardo because he's fun and I don't pay much attention to his ratings. Music is taken too seriously by some people, especially by a few who subscribe to Prog Rock. If people could relax a little more and not take themselves too seriously the world would be a better place. Pete Pardo is one who doesn't take himself seriously and that's why I like him.

And how many times have Pink Floyd played music off the studio tracks of Ummagumma live in concert? Not even Nick Mason's band, which plays the early music of Pink Floyd, plays this music. That's telling us all that Ummagumma isn't a very good album except for the live material.

I'm bizarre too. I rank Ummagumma as their third best album.

I love the live part of Ummagumma, but I think the album's badly let down by some of the weird studio tracks, such as the bizarrely titled "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict" Wacko

I completely disagree with that assessment. I judge the music by listening to it, not whether a band plays it live or not. That doesn't seem like a very creative way of using your brain.
