I was originally going to use the Chicken Rock song and then decided to use the Woodpecker's Dream because I liked it better and it allowed me to use the Chicken Farmer's Song from The Flower Kings.  I was trying to go with one song per band and all different birds.

No bird flies higher than the Snow Goose, but Sister Bluebird gets closest.

Quite a few interesting songs in this collection. Well done, ScottClap! I went for Joanna Newsom, but actually my favourite song of the ones you posted was the one by White Willow. Great stuff!

I think that the White Willow song may have been my favorite as well.   Sadly, I didn't think of hawks when I was trying to think of type of birds until after I posted the poll.  I saw a post about Hawkwind and that made me think to look for songs about hawks.

I updated the original post to add a link to the BandCamp page for Attention Deficit so that if anyone is interested they can listen to Fly, Pelican Fly.

Sorry to have to add my own perspective, but I can't resist injecting one of the most impressive, emotional songs I've ever heard in my entire life (one that I go back to time and time again for inspiration):

Roy Buchanan's "Fly … Night Bird."

The man was a giant among guitarists!

This.

Every instrumental is about birds. It's also one of his masterpieces.

I guess that I should just be happy that nobody has suggested the Chicken Dance or The Bird is the Word.  The funny thing with PA is that you can always count on posters to post other responses.
