trying this again and again.. cheers for Lorenzo for a sparkling great idea. Beer It has been a lot of fun and a lot of neat stuff to possibly discover.

the basic rules.. the only rules..  None of the PA's crap allowed here. Pick what you want otherwise.

Vote on the 3 you like the most...

Tania Maria.. first heard the title track from this album on an NPR station many hears and several life times ago and nearly drove off the f**king road.  LOVED IT and immediately order the album...  been a part of my album collection ever since.

Maybe it's not very obscure, but here it is.

I decided on mine a couple of hours ago.

Keldian is a Norwegian metal band, roughly a melodic power metal band but their sound -just like their vocals- is smooth and quality is higher than most of the other power metal bands. They are basically a duo, but include guest musicians in their albums. I have more than some favourite songs of theirs, but wanna share this particular one. Oh and, they've never released a weak album yet (at least for me).

I figure those who like AOR or generally melodic music might also like this band. Actually, they might like them more than most power metal fans, as they are a standout band.

I hope you enjoy it.

P.S. I had to put the remastered version of the song, as PA didn't show the one I intended to put. They're not too different, but I slightly like the original recording more. Here's its link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc1S5yWC2xg

Question for the future, if an individual artist hasn't been added to PA, but a band they were a participant in is, is that eligible as an entry....It seems like maybe, no, but some people were proto or whatever and ended up doing very different things in their careers as solo artists that may not be familiar to everyone, even though their proto-bands were.

My proposal Hattler in the first poll is the band of Kraan's bass player (and key figure) and actually carries his name. Lorenzo was fine with that. The track I proposed was clearly non-prog though; my personal opinion is, if it's clearly not prog, fine, but it shouldn't be too proggy, whatever that means.

I think you nail the answer right there... the whole point of this really is songs (or artists) that may not be familiar to others and sharing what we like... and discovering through others suggestions what we might not have heard

now up to 15 suggestions..  most of the regs have put their suggestions in..but I''ll leave it the poll open for a bit and see if any new suggestions come in before closing  the window and starting the voting.

definitely... listen away and vote.  The Mick poll experience has not likely been a good one for you all and I'm likely getting fired from ever doing another community poll again so we might as well get this over and done with LOL
