I like how there's no in between with his reviews, its either a masterpiece, or its the worst thing ever.

He uses the word nonsense a few times to describe KC's music, it's not a curse word but it is quite offensive and I recall it's against the rules of the site. It is embarrassing for the site to show those kind of reviews.
A few weeks ago there was a 1 star review of The Beatles, that was a great read very informative, rational and intelligent.

Talk about a nonsense review, purely subjective, not a single comment about the music content |

I've messaged the guy and suggested he try reviewing Captain Beefheart next. He's sure to love the Cap. And much as the great white shark plays host to many a remora, Trout Mask is the perfect habitat for the know-nothing, "I don't get it, therefore it is sh*t" one-star reviewer.

Provoking the guy is not the solution here. There are still rules how to write a review, he/she should get a fair warning. The poorly written reviews, the trollish ones should be nuked.

I know it would be funny if you recommended Beefheart to him and he'd listen and write a crappy review. For a second I thought you'd do it.

Remove this KC review before Robert Fripp see this, you know how he can shut down the reviewer's activity on social media...

But does Robert Fripp even care what people on Progarchives think about his albums? I just went through the reviews. Needless to say I could do with a more sufficient argumentation as to why Larks' Tongues In Aspic and Red deserve one star. It doesn't seem very serious to me.

Can we put an end to this guy's non-sense? He puts just enough words to "qualify" as a review while essentially saying nothing about the music. His latest: http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=2377542

As long as we leave him alone he will just keep posting garbage like this and I highly doubt chastising will help.

He posted another all traps on earth review?!?! His last one was removed because it was literally the same sh*t. I can't. Here's his original review of the all traps on earth album: <span style="font-family: " sans", Arial, sans-serif;"> </span> <span style="font-family: " sans", Arial, sans-serif;">"This album is such an absolute rip off of all the Anglagard albums (as much as I know this album had one of the members from Anglagard, they could've at least tried something different). This is completely unoriginal, just seems completely recycled and reused to the point where you can't tell one band from another. Only thing is is that the singer is different, and not in a good way. I just... can't understand why the singer can't hold a note. Sorry but this album is bland and very unoriginal. If you have an Anglagard CD, that is good enough, don't waste your money on plagiarism.</span> <p style=": rgb248, 248, 252; font-family: " sans", Arial, sans-serif;">1/5"

Someone could actually write his same reviews without ever hearing the albums.

He makes my early album reviews look good by comparison. Looking back, there was barely any humour or narrative structure in my early reviews. The only narrative structure was listing the song titles in the correct order. I wouldn't write them that way now, but I don't have the time or inclination to go back and rewrite them.

It stuck me that there have been calls for the deletion of his reviews since yesterday, but they are still there. Would it f.e. be possible to put the IP address under moderation, meaning that his posts will have to be approved before they appear on the site?

I can't believe that someone is that silly, it's a provocation ...
the problem, he obviously is member of the band Benjamin's Kite, a serious musician most likely, or maybe someone has hijacked his account ... |
