I'm surprised that Deep Purple is second behind Zep on the voting.....I never thought much of them (some nice tracks here and there,,) save for Blackmore who was a brilliant guitar player but saddled with mediocre songs and except for Lord mediocre players.I am not suprised at all, both bands are the most known to today´s listeners, although many of these are lot better (I prefer Sabbath, Cream, Hawkwind, Stones and the Who from those, also I think Family was doing really much same thing as Zeppelin in the same time but lot better, I really would hope people listen more those bands than Zeppelin or Purple).
