Foxtrot is the best for me!

What's your opinion?

Selling England. Most varied album, and some of my all time favourite Genesis classics, like Firth Of Fifth, After The Ordeal and the Cinema Show.

The Lamb would be a close second.

SEBTP, although all of them are 4+ stars, and several 5 star albums.

Selling England by the Pound is my favourite "Sympho-prog" album, and IMO the first Genesis album with really great sounds, the albums before that sound a bit fuzzy. But still , Nursery Cryme and Foxtrot are classics, and ATotT and W&W are also really good albums, but they lack the magic of Peter Gabriel. Never cared for Lamb that much although it has a few great tunes as well.

I'm a Nursery Cryme boy... the Musical Box swings it for me

Seconds Out, no contest. Great song selection, and the production and engineering is vastly superior to the Gabriel studio versions.

IMHO, Seconds Out is the best Genesis album, the best live album ever, and one of the three best prog albums of all time.

Was torn between Foxtrot and Trick of the Tail..

Went for Foxtrot because of 'Suppers Ready' and 'Can Utility & the Coastliners'

They didn't make a bad album between Trespass and Duke IMO. My least favourite is probably Nursery Cryme, and thats pretty good!

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

The Lamb; although it doesn't seem too popular in the vote.

Selling England by the Pound for me.

That "Firth of Fifth" guitar solo has to be one of the best prog solos ever.

The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.

Though I love all of these masterpieces, 'Selling England...' was perhaps the most fully realised album Genesis ever did to these ears, with total classics throughout the album (I can forget about 'More Fool Me').

Foxtrot. Best Genesis album, IMO.

Close behind would be The Lamb, and Nursery Cryme.
