Still a nice easy listen every now and then, eh Sam? I'm sure some months/a year ago the band posted something on their Facebook page and I replied that I hoped we'd get a follow-up to this album at some point, and I seem to recall they said that the band was finished! Ha, so they may fall to the `one and done' curse that befell so many of the Italian prog acts...well, until many of them started coming back with albums almost fifty years later and breaking that theory!

My choices of an all vintage night:

Alquin – Marks
Uriah Heep – Demons and Wizards
Van der Graaf Generator – Goldbluff
Jethro Tull – Thick as a Brick
Kansas – Song for America
Clear Blue Sky – s/t
Message – From Books and Dreams
Finch – Glory of the Inner Force
FM – Black Noise
Eloy - Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes
Brand X - Livestock

There is absolutely no comparison! All different (and all great) artists, with Egg occupying the "dark acid technical experimental avant-prog" spectrum. But definitely more than just "ok," in my opinion, from many, many, many different perspectives.

Yeaaa! Still one of my stoner doom faves. Have you heard their newest, The Sciences? It's also a really good album, in my opinion, somewhat similar to both Dopesmoker and Holy Mountain, while still managing to sound fresh and balanced.

Well, they´re all from the Canterbury scene, that´s why I compare them. Yes, all very personal bands, but those I mentioned more of my favour.

This day:
Dantalian´s Chariot: Chariot Rising
J.J. Cale: Grasshopper
Steppenwolf: Monster
the Turtles: Happy Together
