I'll start posting here during weekdays since I now have quite the commute:

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde: It's weird in that I never think it's all that (some real good stuff within though), but I always have the urge to play it at least once a month...that must mean something.
Stereolab - Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night: Have this on vinyl, and it fills out two LPs quite nicely. Not their catchiest album, but a very interesting one.
Mika Nakashima - The End: Sounds like Diana Krall singing in Japanese and fronting a punk/grunge band.
Slugdge - Gastronomicon: Slug metal? "Dark Side of the Shroom" is a nice intro, and songs like "Salters of Madness" have some killer twisting grooves.

I haven't played Melt Banana in ages. Teeny Shiny was always my favorite of theirs. Think I need to check their more recent stuff.

Mika Nakashima! I went to college with a girl of that name. Not a musician though.

Honestly, I have a hard time thinking of a name that rolls off the tongue better than Mika Nakashima. No wonder her name is stuck in your head.
